Internal Structure

TJSGA has a three-body structure: the Board of Directors, the Staff and the Member Organizations. TSJGA is currently in the midst of the construction of its structure, as it prepares to start operating in 2004. We are currently building our Board with both individuals of member organizations as well as individual members of Global Civil Society who are committed to our mission. These people, who come from a diversity of professional, cultural and national backgrounds, will provide the effective governance and strategy to successfully achieve our goals. The Board will work in tandem with the Staff and the member organizations to provide the leadership and resources necessary to execute TLWNSI effectively.

External Structure

Externally, TJSGA will draw its support from a network of hundreds of thousands of individuals who belong to labour and consumer organizations -some of which are formal members of our Alliance- as well as of individual members of Global Civil Society, who support our mission and principles. These individuals are actual activists or concerned consumers who will respond to our call by supporting our specific campaigns for living wages through Corporate Social Responsibility. We will also work in partnership with specific global corporations that commit to closing the gap by adhering to TLWNSI's program for CSR.
