An Ocean of Inequality: The Effects of Globalisation on the "Developing" World

The essay discusses the effect of The Neo-Capitalist Assault on the Third World and the social polarization that it has generated because of the extreme inequalities that have emerged. In this way, the goal of the essay is to establish that Neoliberalism has not been of any benefit to the welfare of the majority of the population in the Third World. The essay opens by stating that poverty in the Third World has been exacerbated because the dies are loaded in favour of those who control economic and political power.
